Description

I was driving from upstate NY that the idea of this painting popped in my head. I wanted to design it as a sand clock. this painting is similar in style of “Worlds in equilibrium” and “Evolution”. There is sun, moon connected by the shaft of light and the earth in-between. There are 12 cubes representing 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. they also represent 12 months in a year. from left to center we have life as a green cube, wood, metal, hot magma, ice, and magnetism as in northern lights. from right to center we got different ecosystems on earth. ocean, desert, mountain, forest, grassland, and polar. I believe this is one of my best works combining geometric design with realism and surrealistic idea. A bright and beautiful painting with lots of details.
