Description
While watching the movie “Triangle of Sadness,” there is a scene where Woody Haralson, the ship’s captain, begins to drunkenly babel into the intercom as the ship sinks. He is holding two books up as he makes his speech, one of which is Noam Chomsky’s “How the World Works.” I was tasked with reading this lengthy and eye-opening book and needed an outlet for this information. I wrote the book’s synopsis in my own words in many layers of graffiti, each in a different color overlapping the back. The full synopsis was then rewritten on the backside of this wood panel to complete the cathartic expression of the Scabitalist.
