What to say about Madonna? The Queen of Pop, the Queen of Marketing Strategy. She brings a combination of artistic creation, rhythm and audacious intelligence. How not to surrender? Madonna poses and the world stops to watch, the entire planet surrenders to Madonna. How can I not be inspired by this artist and portray her image immortalizing once again a truly Icon. 

I was preparing an exhibition in Brazil and looking for some celebrities to portray, when I found these pictures of MDNA Tour, showing Madonna intense and mysterious. I surrended to the pose, it’s a great pleasure to portray such a personality, who carries that sparkle in her eyes. This was not my frist protrait of her.The dark red rose in the background refers to the burning passion for art and romance, so evident in her musical poetry. The background was painted with acrylic colors, for the face and hair was used oil.

 The painting was part of my solo exhibition Happiness, Sheraton Hotel, Porto Alegre, 2018, Brazil.
