Description

The idea for this painting came to me when I saw photos of corpse flower that opened up at the NY botanical garden. this flower is huge only opens for three days only, after three, five, or ten years depends on how it is kept. it has three stages of growth that is shown in this painting. I decided to have grand canyon as background to give it a prehistoric look. The lizard is an Australian lizard that have lot of sharp spikes.
It is nice painting with lots of deatils.
